Dr. Marlene Street Forrest is the Managing Director of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) and Director of its subsidiaries. She has extensive experience in senior management roles in Jamaica and overseas. Under her leadership, the JSE underwent demutualization, launched the US Denominated Market and the Junior Market, and established the Registrar Division of the Jamaica Central Securities Depository (JCSD). Dr. Street Forrest is a sought-after speaker at local, regional, and international conferences. She has received numerous awards, including the Order of Distinction in the Rank of Commander (CD) and the Afroglobal Excellence Award for Global Impact. In 2021, The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) awarded her an Honorary Doctoral Degree in Public Policy. She received the Stellar Gregory Award for encouraging female leadership in Jamaica. Dr. Street Forrest holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies, Mona, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Barry University in Florida. She is actively involved in volunteerism and community service, serving as a Justice of the Peace and Director for the Good Samaritan Inn.
